Abstract

"meio de cultura seletivo para o isolamento e/ou detecção prematura de espécies do gênero streptococcus". a presente invenção se relaciona com microbiologia em particular com um meio de cultura seletivo para o isolamento e/ou detecção prematura de espécies do gênero streptococcus. o meio proposto permite a identificação de espécies streptococcus pelo aparecimento de 3 tonalidades diferentes nos organismos a detectar e o aparecimento de emissões fluorescentes além de mudanças de coloração do meio, o que oferece a identificação com um alto grau de sensibilidade e especificidade. o meio compreende relações específicas de misturas de bases nutrientes ricas em compostos de origem protéica (polipeptídeos, peptídeos, proteoses, aminoácidos) e vitaminas que possibilitam um crescimento abundante das espécies de interesse, além da inclusão do hidrolisado enzimático de sangue, o qual garante a presença no meio de substâncias derivadas do sangue ou de uma de suas frações necessárias para o crescimento de streptococcus, sem prejudicar a identificação.
