Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"SISTEMA DE DETECçãO BIOLóGICA PORTáTIL INTEGRADO"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a separação de células bacterianas e cancerígenas de sangue humano periférico em chips eletrónicos microfabricados por dieletroforese. As células isoladas foram examinadas por coloração dos núcleos com corante fluorescente, seguida por formação de imagem fluorescente induzida por laser. DNA e RNA também foram liberados eletronicamente das células liberadas, e as sequências de marcadores específicos detectadas por amplificação de DNA, seguida por hibridização eletrónica para as sondas de captura imobilizadas. As tentativas no sentido da construção de um sistema "lab-on-a chip" são apresentadas, o que envolve a seleção de sondas de DNA, corantes, reagentes e estabelecimento de um protótipo do instrumento portátil completamente integrado.
