Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"CONTROLE DE FORMAçãO DE ESPORóCITO OU MEIóCITO EM PLANTAS E EMPREGOS PARA O MESMO"<D>. A presente invenção fornece genes e proteínas codificadas que são envolvidas em formação de meiócito durante o desenvolvimento de plantas. A formação de plantas e hospedeiros relacionados com planta com estes genes em forma alterada ou inalterada, ou a mutação destes genes em forma endógena, torna uma planta capaz de durante o desenvolvimento gerar frutos sem semente e/ou flores sem pólen. A invenção ainda fornece métodos de produzir plantas transgênicas que são capazes de gerar frutos sem semente e/ou flores sem pólen.
