Abstract

"PROCESSOS E DISPOSITIVOS PARA A SEPARAçãO DE CATALISADOR DE MISTURAS DE OXIDAçãO" Esta invenção se refere a processos para o controle da oxidação de hidrocarbonetos em ácidos dibásicos, na presença de um catalisador e um ácido monobásico, por remoção do catalisador da mistura de reação, fora da zona de oxidação, após a oxidação ter ocorrido pelo menos parcialmente. Inicialmente, o catalisador é parcialmente precipitado e removido por redução do nível de água na mistura de reação e/ou submissão da mistura de reação a uma temperatura em que ou acima da qual o catalisador precipite. Após a precipitação parcial inicial do catalisador, o catalisador restante é submetido a um tratamento térmico, durante o qual pelo menos parte do ácido monobásico é removida, dexiando ácidos dibásicos em fusão, nos quais pelo menos a maior parte do catalisador restante é precipitada, e é removida. Uma pequena parte do catalisador restante é removida por processos que incluem, mas não se limitam a, troca de íons, precipitação com uma base ou sal apropriado e eletrodiálise. O catalisador precipitado nos três estágios de remoção pode seer reciclado de diversas maneiras. O(s) ácido(s) dibásico(s) pode(m) ser removido(s) pelo menos parcialmente, antes ou depois de qualquer estágio de precipitação de catalisador.
