Abstract

"PROCESSO PAPA A PRODUçãO DE COMPOSIçõES DE GEL DE BAIXA DENSIDADE". Processos para a produção de composições de gel compreendem: esterificar uma porção da superfície de uma composição de gel suficiente para produzir uma composição de gel tendo uma densidade de rod menor que ou igual a 0,27 g/cm^ 3^, e/ou uma densidade de tap menor que ou igual a 0,2 g/cm^ 3^ através do contato com pelo menos um agente de esterificação e pelo menos um catalisador. Os processos podem ser utilizados para produzir composições de gel de baixa densidade sem a necessidade de uma etapa de secagem supercrítica ou tratamento térmico.
