Abstract

''DISPERSõES OU EMULSõES AQUOSAS DE INTERPOLìMEROS DE MONÈMERO(S) AROMáTICO(S) DE ALFA OLEFINA(S)/VINILIDENO IMPEDIDO(S) E SEU USO''. Uma dispersão aquosa, formadora de película, compreendendo pelo menos um interpolímero substancialmente randómico compreendendo (A) unidades poliméricas derivadas de: (1) pelo menos um monómero aromático de vinilideno, ou (2) pelo menos um monómero de vinilideno alifático ou cicloalifático impedido, ou (3) uma combinação de pelo menos um monómero de vinilideno aromático e pelo menos um monómero de vinilideno alifático ou cicloalifático impedido, e (4) pelo menos uma <244>-olefina C~ 2-20~; e (B) um tensoativo. As dispersões ou emulsões aquosas da presente invenção são úteis como revestimentos de papel de barreira, revestimentos resistentes à corrosão, suporte de tapete e ligantes de fibras de tapete, em alguns casos, precursoras para polímeros, compostos e membranas de alto peso molecular para sistemas de separação, revestimentos e ligantes para pinturas, tintas, barreiras de umidade em embalagens, revestimentos de tecidos, luvas sintéticas, adesivos, espumas, lajotas e camadas de pisos compostos, espumas e almofadas compostas amortecedoras de som, revestimentos exteriores protetores automotivos, e revestimentos protetores removíveis temporariamente.
