Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA A FABRICAçãO DE UM ARTIGO CARBONáCEO". Um artigo carbonáceo (40) é feito por meio do cozimento da massa (28) sob alta pressão continuamente aplicada. A massa (28) é extrudada conforme cozida de modo a formar o artigo (40), e o artigo (40) pode ser ainda usinado após cozimento. Uma força oposta à extrusão é aplicada ao artigo (40) a fim de permitir que altas pressões sejam providas à massa (28). A localização da zona de cozimento tanto no sentido longitudinal como no periférico é cuidadosamente controlada a fim de fechar sobre e sob o cozimento. O controle longitudinal da zona de cozimento é realizado por meio da medição da força requerida para extrudar a massa cozida (28), e o controle periférico é realizado por meio da medição da extensão do cozimento em diversas localizações periféricas e do controle do cozimento corrente nestas localizações.
