As composições podem ser em forma de dosagem por unidade e são úteis para o tratamento de câncer em ser humano. São também descritos composições e kits contendo um primeiro agente quimioterapêutico que inclui arglabina ou um seu derivado e um segundo agente quimioterapêutico. As composições e os kits são eficazes para o tratamento de câncer em um paciente humano. A invenção também provê vários derivados de arglabina, eficazes para supressão de crescimento de tumor em mamíferos.Invention Patent: <B> "PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS OF ARGLABINE AND ARGLABINE DERIVATIVES" <D>. Pharmaceutical compositions containing arglabine and arglabine derivatives are described. The compositions can be in unit dosage form and are useful for the treatment of cancer in humans. Compositions and kits containing a first chemotherapeutic agent that includes arglabine or a derivative thereof and a second chemotherapeutic agent are also described. The compositions and kits are effective for treating cancer in a human patient. The invention also provides several arglabine derivatives, effective for suppressing tumor growth in mammals.
