Abstract
"APARELHO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE TECIDO ENFARTADOE MéTODO DE USO DO APARELHO". Esta invenção é umaparelho e um método para o tratamento de infarto do miocárdioatravés do aquecimento seletivo da cicatriz do infarto para reduziro tamanho da área do tecido da cicatriz (18) por meio doencolhimento do tecido no coração (10), enrijecer a porção frouxado tecido de cicatriz, reduzir a tensão de parede sistólicaventricular, e aumentar a eficiência geral de bombeamento docoração infartado (10) pela eliminação de um aneurismaventricular, se houver. o calor pode ser aplicado sobre ou induzidopara dentro da cicatriz do infarto. Também pode-se aplicar forçapara auxiliar na redução do tamanho da cicatriz (18) ao se utilizar oaparelho da presente invenção, o qual possui um dispositivo deaquecimento (24), e um grampo semelhante a uma tesoura (26)para comprimir juntas duas porções da cicatriz do infarto.
