Abstract

<B>MéTODO PARA FABRICAR PAPEL COM RESISTêNCIA úMIDA<D> A invenção é um método para melhorar eficiência aditivos de resistência úmida catiónicos aquosos através do pré-tratamento de superfícies de celulose com compostos aniónicos reativos, proporcionando à superfície de celulose, dessa forma, lados aniónicos adicionais adequados para reter uma alta proporção daqueles aditivos de resistência úmida catiónicos na celulose. Os aditivos de resistência úmida na superfície da celulose são curados ou reagidos com a superfície da celulose. O material fibroso resultante possui uma alta resistência úmida com doses incomumente baixas de aditivo catiónico de resistência úmida. Os compostos aniónicos reativos preferidos compreendem compostos que possuem um grupo reativo adequado para ligação covalente a grupos hidroxilas na celulose, possuindo ainda grupos terminais sulfónicos ou aniónicos capazes de atrair compostos de resistência úmida catiónicos em solução aquosa.
