Abstract
Patente de Invenção:<B>"REMOçãO E RECUPERAçãO SELETIVAS DE DIóXIDO DE ENXOFRE A PARTIR DE GASES EFLUENTES USANDO-SE SOLVENTES DE FóSFORO ORGANICO"<D>. Processo para remoção seletiva e recuperação de dióxido de gases de efluente é descrito. O dióxido de enxofre é recuperador em um ciclo de absorção/dessorção de dióxido de enxofre que utiliza u solvente líquido para absorver seletivamente dióxido de enxofre do gás do efluente. O solvente líquido compreende um composto fosforoso orgânico selecionado de triésteres de fosfato, diésteres de fosfanato, monoésteres de fostinato e misturas do mesmo. Preferivelmente, o solvente líquido compreende de fórmula (I) em que R^ 3^ R^ 2^ são independentemente arila ou C~ 1~ a C~ 8~ alquila. Os diésteres de fosfonato orgânicos são substancialmente imiscíveis em água, a solubilidade da água em diéster de fosfonato orgânico é menor que 10 por cento em peso a 25°C, e tem uma pressão de vapor menor do que cerca de 1 Pa a 25°C. De acordo com uma concretização preferida, o solvente líquido compreende butil fosfonato de dibutila. O dióxido de enxofre absorvido é subseq³entemente extraído para regenerar o solvente fosforoso orgânico e produzir um gás enriquecido em teor de dióxido de enxofre. O gás enriquecido com dióxido de enxofre pode ser ursado como parte do gás de alimentação para uma planta de ácido sulfúrico de contato ou uma planta de Claus para preparação de enxofre elementar ou para ser resfriado para condensar o dióxido de enxofre na forma de um produto líquido. A presente invenção é particularmente útil na produção de gás enriquecido em dióxido de enxofre a partir de gases relativamente fracos em teor de dióxido de enxofre.
