Abstract
<MU><B>COMPOSIçãO TóPICA AQUOSA PARA CLAREAR A PELE E PROCESSO PARA CLAREAR A PELE DE MEìFEROS E AUMENTAR O EFEITO DE PENETRAçãO DE áCIDO CóJICO"<MV><D>. Expõe-se uma composição aquosa tópica para clarear a pele que compreende: (a) uma quantidade segura e efetiva de ácido cójico, (b) uma quantidade segura e efetiva de ácido salicílico, (c) água, e (d) entre cerca de 20% até cerca de 30%, em peso, da composição, de um éter de glicol solúvel na água da fórmula geral <B>R^ 1^-O-[(CH~ 2~)~ m~O]~ n~H<D>; em que R^ 1^ é uma alquila de 1 a 6 átomos de carbono, m varia entre cerca de 2 até cerca de 3, e n varia de cerca de 1 até cerca de 2; em que a dita composição é dotada de um pH entre cerca de 2,5 até cerca de 4, e é desprovida de um espessador. Expõe-se igualmente um processo para clarear a pele de mamíferos que compreende aplicar topicamente à pele a dita composição tópica aquosa.<MU> <B> WATER TOPICAL COMPOSITION TO LIGHTEN SKIN AND PROCESS TO LIGHTEN SKIN OF MEIPLES AND INCREASE THE EFFECT OF CODIC ACID PENETRATION "<MV> <D>. comprises: (a) a safe and effective amount of cojic acid, (b) a safe and effective amount of salicylic acid, (c) water, and (d) between about 20% to about 30%, by weight, of composition, of a water-soluble glycol ether of the general formula <B> R ^ 1 ^ -O - [(CH ~ 2 ~) ~ m ~ O] ~ n ~ H <D>; where R ^ 1 ^ is an alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, m ranges from about 2 to about 3, and n ranges from about 1 to about 2, wherein said composition has a pH between about 2.5 to about of 4, and is devoid of a thickener. Also exposed is a process for whitening the skin of mammals which comprises applying topically to the skin said aqueous topical composition.
