Abstract

Patente de Invenção; <B>"DISPOSITIVO DE MONITORAMENTO DE FLUXO DE PICO"<D>. Dispositivo portáteis de monitoramento (PEFR) de taxa de fluxo expiratório de pico são conhecidos que usam apitos ou palhetas que são ativados no limiar de forma a registrar o PEFR. Essa invenção fornece um dispositivo de monitoramento de PEFR incluindo uma palheta ativada no limiar (16) localizada em uma saída formada em um corpo. O corpo compreendendo invólucros de corpo com entrada e saída (12, 14) que são interengatáveis um com o outro em uma pluralidade de posições rotacionais dos invólucros com relação um ao outro. Uma abertura de respiradouro (26) estende-se axialmente ao longo do comprimento do invólucro de saída (14). O invólucro de entrada (12) inclui um bocal (18) que estende-se dentro de um oclusor cilíndrico (20), cuja borda superior (20.1) é formada em formato espiral. Quando os invólucros são interengatados, o oclusor (20) estende-se dentro do invólucro de saída para fechar o respiradouro em uma maior ou menor extensão, dependendo da posição rotacional dos invólucros (12, 14), para desse modo direcionar uma maior ou menor proporção de fluxo através a montagem de palheta (16).
