Abstract

"PROCEDIMENTO PARA A FABRICAçãO DE CORPOS MOLDADOS METáLICOS ALTAMENTE POROSOS". A presente invenção se refere a um procedimento para a fabricação de corpos moldados metálicos altamente porosos, que abrange as etapas seguintes: um metal pulverizado utilizado como matéria-prima é misturado com um material de espaçamento; a partir desta mistura são prensados corpos de base; os corpos de base são submetidos a um processamento mecânico convencional, sendo que o material de espaçamento eleva vantajosamente a estabilidade do corpo de base; o material de espaçamento é retirado do corpo de base termicamente, ao lar ou sob vácuo ou sob uma atmosfera de gás inerte; o corpo de base é sinterizado para formar o corpo moldado e, por fim, este é trovalizado ou esmerilado. Materiais adequados para servir de material de espaçamento são, por exemplo, bicarbonato de amónio ou também carbamida. O processamento mecânico antes da sinterização possibilita realizar, de forma vantajosa, uma fabricação simples e apresentando já aproximadamente o contorno final dos corpos moldados a serem produzidos inclusive no caso de geometrias complexas, sem prejudicar a porosidade e sem que haja um grande desgaste das ferramentas utilizadas. Uma vantagem é que a peça a ser trabalhada apresenta uma resistência à compressão suficiente para o seu processamento, na medida em que c) material de espaçamento ainda se encontra nos poros do corpo de base durante o processamento deste último.
