Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA CONFORMAR UM FILME ORIENTADO TUBULAR, USO DO FILME TUBULAR, E, APARELHO PARA EXTRUSAR MATERIAL TERMOPLáSTICO". O método e aparelho melhorados para orientação longitudinal de um filme termoplástico tubular quando ele deixa uma matriz de extrusão anelar visa um melhor controle desta orientação. Em seu passeio entre o orifício de saída (21) e o dispositivo de estiramento para baixo, o filme no mínimo parcialmente fundido passa um dispositivo de atrito anelar (101) e a força de atrito estabelecida com este é variável de maneira controlada. Este dispositivo é resfriado a partir de seu interior (105) de maneira controlada, por meio de um meio de resfriamento por fluido. O atrito pode ser controlado por meio de lubrificação por ar com ar comprimido através de furos (123) no dispositivo de atrito, ou através de metal micro-poroso (102) ou, alternativamente, aspirando o filme contra o dispositivo de atrito. Em uma configuração preferencial, a extrusão para fora da matriz é extrusão periférica, e em uma outra configuração preferencial o filme contém uma mistura de no mínimo dois polímeros compatíveis ou compatibilizados, e a proporção principal da orientação ocorre enquanto um está predominantemente em um estado cristalino e o outro predominantemente em um estado fundido.
