Abstract
"PROCEDIMENTO PARA OPERAçãO DE UM REFRATÈMETRO". Um refratómetro manual é dotado de uma ponta penetrante (11) na qual está disposta uma cavidade de amostragem (7), fazendo com que, depois que a ponta penetrante (11) tenha sido inserida em um líquido ou em uma fruta, permaneça na cavidade de amostragem (7) uma quantidade de liquido a ser testado suficiente para umedecer uma superfície de medição (4) delimitada por um corpo permeável à luz. Por meio de uma medição de intensidade realizada num raio óptico refletido na superfície de medição (4), pode-se determinar o índice de refração do líquido umedecedor.
