Abstract
"MISTURA GASOSA DE CO~ 2~ E O~ x~ E SEU USO PARA REDUçãO DE CARGA BIOLóGICA". Uma mistura gasosa de CO~ 2~ e O~ x~ e um método para aplicar uma corrente contínua de uma mistura gasosa de CO~ 2~ e O~ x~ a um material são divulgados. A mistura gasosa e o método reduzem significantemente a carga biológica nos produtos de consumo, tal como produtos alimentícios, ingredientes cosméticos e botânicos, em estruturas de construção: em recipientes para transporte; e no solo. Gaseous mixing and the method significantly reduce the biological burden on consumer products, such as food products, cosmetic and botanical ingredients, in building structures: in shipping containers; and in the soil. A shipping container (1) that is lined with an O ~ 3 ~ resistant tarpaulin (2). The shipping container (1) contains material (3) to be treated. The shipping container (1) is connected via piping and appropriate control valves to the O ~ x ~ generator (4) at one end and to a shredding unit (5) at the other. A first blower (6) is employed to draw gas from the O ~ x ~ generator (4) in the shipping container (1). A second blower (6) is employed to draw gas from the shipping container (1) to the destruction unit (5). A gas analyzer (7) is employed to determine the O ~ 3 ~ concentration in the shipping container (1).
