Abstract
"CATALISADOR PARA DIMINUIR A QUANTIDADE DE óXIDOS DE NITROGêNIO NO GáS DE DESCARGA DE MOTORES DE QUEIMA POBRE". A invenção se refere a um catalisador para diminuir a quantidade de NO~ x~ no gás de descarga pobre de motores de queima pobre, compreendendo óxido de alumínio ativo, óxido de magnésio e pelo menos um metal nobre do grupo da platina da tabela periódica de elementos, assim como pelo menos um material de armazenamento de óxido de nitrogênio. O catalisador se caracteriza pelo fato de o óxido de magnésio formar um óxido misto homogêneo com o óxido de alumínio e estar presentes em uma concentração de cerca de 1 a cerca de 40% em peso, com base no peso total do óxido misto.
