Abstract
"INJETOR SEM AGULHA COM PRESSURIZAçãO A GáS MODULAR". The present invention relates to a needleless injector suitable for injecting fluid through a surface including a housing, a driver, a motor and a trigger. The housing contains a fluid and the engine contains a compressed gas. By applying sufficient force to the trigger, compressed gas is released from the engine by forcing the actuator through the interior of the housing, expelling the liquid from the housing at a speed sufficient to pierce the injection surface. In one embodiment, the needleless injector includes a mechanism for mitigating recoil associated with the release of compressed gas from the engine. In another embodiment, the housing includes finger rests that provide stability and resistance to activate the device. In another embodiment, a safety clip is included in the housing, preventing accidental activation of the device.
