"MéTODO PARA AUMENTAR A CELULOSE E MODIFICAR A BIOSSìNTESE DE LIGNINA EM PLANTAS". Esta invenção refere-se a moléculas de polinucleotídeos codificando celulose sintase, promotores de celulose sintase e polipeptídeos de celulose sintase, processos para alterar geneticamente biossíntese de celulose e lignina, e processos para aperfeiçoamento de propriedades de resistência de madeira e fibra jovens em árvores. The invention further relates to methods for identifying regulatory elements in a cellulose synthase promoter and transcription factors that bind to such regulatory elements, and to methods for increasing expression of polynucleotides operably linked to a cellulose synthase promoter.
