Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO COMPREENDENDO UM AMIDO, E, FIBRA OUFILAMENTO COMPREENDENDO AMIDO". A presente invençãorefere-se a composições de amido que contêm amido e aditivos. Oamido tem um peso molecular médio ponderal variando de cercade 1.000 a cerca de 2.000.000. Os aditivos podem serplastificantes ou diluentes. A composição contendo o amido e oaditivo é formada por meio da passagem da composição atravésde uma matriz para produzir fibras, espumas ou películas. Estascomposições têm uma viscosidade linear na faixa de cerca de 50 acerca de 20.000 pascal<sym>segundos. As composições de amidopreferivelmente contêm um polímero que é substancialmentecompatível com o amido e têm um peso molecular médio ponderalde pelo menos 500.000.
