Abstract

The method is used in hair dressing, in the removal of boldness, for attributing greater volume and length of healthy hair. It elongates and thickens the hair without any chemical or heat treatment by preparing in advance of additional locks of hair (3) of fibres (1) of man-made or natural hair in the forms of locks connected at one of their ends by hardened tops (2). The other ends are formed off reely falling fibres (1). A random number of fibres of the person's own hair in horizontal line are formed into locks (4) which are pushed across small tubes (5) into which the tops (2) of the additional locks (3) are pulled through. The adhesive connecting one of the ends of the additional locks (3) and forming the hardened tops (2) is of colourless silicon. The small rubes (5) prepared in advance have colour matching that of the hair and are fitted into the receiving lock at a distance of 1.0 to 1.5 mm from the scalp. The tubes (5) are then pressed by a specially prepared tool to the required degree of deformation so that a tight assembly is produced. The removal of the additional locks (3) of hair is made by destroying tubes (5). When working along the horizontal lines in the air, one starts from downwards going upwards, and locks are formed at a preset range of the treated sector of the head.
