Abstract
The method can be used metallurgy for cast-iron, steel and alloy production. Its application longer life-span during continuous operation of the furnace and respectively its productivity. According to the method after building the bottom (1) of the furnace a graphite stencil (4) is placed in the inductor (3), around which refractory material (5) is pressed. The working space (2) of the inductor (3) and the open surface of the stencil (4) are insulated from the environment. After that, inert gas is supplied and the stencil (4) is heated by induction. The refractory material is fired uniformly in a direction from the mould to the interior of the inductor (3). After the firing of the lining the graphite stencil (4) is removed and could be used again in subsequent repair work.<IMAGE>
