Abstract

This method is used for printing textile materials; in particular, wool and natural silk. By this method, colour effects are obtained, by dying with the traditional types of dyes, due to the effect of preliminarily-layered activating agents.Description : the textile material is layered with a colourless imprint with a printing paste, containing a condenser : 10% Solvitose C 5, 6% polyethylene oxide or emulsion condenser, between 600 and 800 g/kg of printing paste, non-ionic humidifier, based on ethoxylated alkyl phenols (or phenol polyglycol ether in quantities of 1 to 10 g/kg of printing paste), and activators (diethylenetriamine or polyethylenimine, with MM 30,000, or a combination of these, between 1 and 10% water solution of 199-399 g/kg of printing paste). The textile material is dried at 100 degrees C, for 1 to 5 minutes; it is then fixated with saturated steam, heated to 102 to 103 degrees C for 10 to 60 minutes, then washed with warm water, containing 5 g/l non-ionic textile auxiliary agents. The printed material is dyed in the familiar way.
