Abstract

The electro-coagulator is used for producing forage and other complex colloid-disperse systems in the food processing industry. The coagulation is more efficient at more durable impact of electricity on the juice, its treatment is complete, without increasing the temperature above the preset, the efficiency of the process is enhanced, its structure is simplified and technological. The electro-coagulator consists of a working chamber (1) with a continuous electrode (2) and an electrode (4), spirally coiled in channels onto an insulation cylinder (3). The electrodes are connected to a source of lowered impulse tension, while the space between them holds the mixer (5) from an insulation material. On the external side of the electrode are positioned the temperature pick-ups (6), which, along with the electrode, are covered by the heat insulation (7), on which a metallic monitor - damage proof - is placed (8).
