Abstract
The disc is used for the dry cutting of marble, asphalt, concrete, asbestos cement, refractories etc.. It is mounted on hand power tools, for example grinders etc. Its construction has improved cooling, increased resistance to wear, as well as eased dust collection. The disc consists of a steel body (1) with a central opening (2), and along the periphery of the body (1) a profiled diamond layer is located, which has the same geometry on both sides, with the profiles shifted respectively to each other. The profile of the diamond layer represents alteration of outer (4) and inner (5) semi cylindrical profiles. Each profile is located at a determined pitch along the generating line of the diamond layer, whose inner profiles (4) are turned to the outer profiles (5) with the curvatures of their cylindrical parts. The shift of the profiles on the two sides of the disc is half of the step between the semi cylindrical profiles.
