Abstract

Carbonless-copy receptor sheet which uses as chromogen an inert material which may be kaolin, chalk white, CaCO3 etc. in combination with cations chosen from Al, Cu (II), Mn (II), Fe (II), Zn, Cd, Ce (II), In, Sn (II) as well as the lanthanides and anions chosen from Cl, Br aluminates and borates the ratio of inorganic salt to inert material suitably being 0.1-3:1 all held by a suitable binder. Images produced by the system are less sensitive to u.v. and visible light, and moisture. They have improved storage properties.
