Abstract
De uitvinding voorziet in een werkwijze voor het batchgewijs destilleren van een mengsel dat ten minste drie componenten omvat, waarvan een eerste component met een eerste kookpunt, een tweede component met een tweede kookpunt dat hoger is dan het eerste kookpunt, en een derde component met een derde kookpunt dat hoger is dan het tweede kookpunt, waarbij de batch-destillatiekolom (2) een bodem-afvoerpunt (15), een top-afvoerpunt (8) en ten minste één zij-afvoerpunt (16, 18) dat is gepositioneerd tussen het bodem-afvoerpunt (15) en het top-afvoerpunt (8) omvat, waarbij tijdens het destilleren via het top-afvoerpunt (8) een topfractie omvattende de eerste component wordt afgevoerd, en waarbij via het zij-afvoerpunt (16, 18) een hoofdfractie omvattende de tweede component wordt afgevoerd.
