Abstract
L'objet de l'invention est une installation de traitement thermique de pièces métalliques dans une atmosphère de cémentation par le carbone, comportant un four de cémentation 3 dans lequel les charges 1 renfermant les pièces, préchauffées le cas échéant dans un four de préchauffage 2 prévu en amont, sont cémentées selon un temps de séjour différent en fonction de la nature des charges individuelles, à une température de cémentation constante et à un potentiel constant de l'atmosphère de cémentation, ainsi qu'un four à diffusion et de trempe 4 prévu en aval du four de cémentation 3. Afin d'améliorer l'installation de telle sorte qu'un traitement individuel des différentes charges soit possible en fonction de paramètres de traitement chaque fois différents, l'invention prévoit que le four à diffusion et de trempe 4 comporte au moins deux chambres 4', 4'', 4''' séparées l'une de l'autre, conçues pour recevoir chacune une seule charge 1, et que chacune des chambres 4', 4'', 4''' puisse opérer séparément et indépendamment l'une de l'autre à des températures et des potentiels carbone différents.
