Abstract

The disclosed composition based on lipidic vesicles dispersed in an external phase is characterized in that it contains at least one melanic pigment in the aqueous external phase. The melanic pigments may be supported on fine particulate, mineral or polymer, or lamellar charges. The resulting composition is usable in the cosmetic field where it allows to obtain a very homogenous dispersion of the melanic pigment which may be uniformly distributed on the skin or hair; it increases the protection duration of keratinic material against noxious effects of ultraviolet radiations; it helps the sun tan of the skin and gives the skin a uniform colour and a better aspect; it gives coloration to grey hair; and it generates an improved storage of melanic pigment in the corneous layer.
