Abstract
14 A gravity-fed firearm magazine speed loader is disclosed, comprising a hopper that funnels loose rimmed cartridges into an elongate feeding channel through a constriction entrance which engages cartridge rims to achieve adjacent parallel alignment. The feeding channel narrows to tip the cartridges by their bullet ends into a longitudinal alignment and terminates in an outlet configured for attachment to a separable magazine adapter. The adapter defines a channel aligned with the outlet and includes a loading interface oriented at an angle toward a backstop adjacent a widened entrance. As cartridges exit the channel in longitudinal alignment, they contact the backstop, pivot, and fall under gravity into a spring-loaded containment channel of a magazine in adjacent parallel alignment. The system enables smooth, reliable transfer of rimmed cartridges while accommodating various magazine types via interchangeable adapters.
