The invention relates to a prefabricated installation unit to be fixed in a cabinet, in particular in a kitchen cabinet base unit or the like, comprising a frame device.
The invention, moreover, relates to system to be fixed in a cabinet, in particular a kitchen cabinet base unit or the like, comprising a prefabricated installation unit, which can be fixed on the inside to the cabinet and a mounting device.
The invention, moreover, relates to a cabinet, in particular a kitchen cabinet base unit, comprising a prefabricated installation unit and/or a system that is inserted into and fixed to the kitchen cabinet base unit.
Although the present invention is generally applicable to any cabinet, the present invention is elucidated in relation to kitchen cabinet base units.
In kitchen cabinet base units, in particular in the region of the sink, the installation space is extremely limited due to the supply lines and drain pipes of the sink that need to be arranged for this purpose. Since individual constraints, such as the width, depth, and height of the kitchen cabinet base unit, which can also be changed by a user at short notice, often need to be taken into account, it has become common practice to fix individual equipment elements, such as an extractible waste bin, directly to the cabinet base unit or its movable front panel, for example, to a door. The individual equipment elements exhibit a wide range of dimensions and are fixed directly by an installer on site in the cabinet base unit at a position that suits him, which requires an extremely high level of assembly work in terms of time and complexity.
US 2021/0198880 Al discloses a kitchen cabinet with an upper region and a lower region. In one embodiment example, the upper region comprises a sink, a faucet, a water filter assembly, a water inlet connection and a power connection. In another embodiment example, the lower region comprises a first extractable drawer and a second extractable drawer, wherein the first extractable drawer and the second extractable drawer are configured to receive one or more components of the upper part.
DE 20 2012 100 009 U1 discloses a furniture element, in particular a kitchen module, with a carcass divided into at least an upper part and a lower part in a vertical direction, wherein the furniture element comprises a metal tube frame that is 0 shaped in its front view and, in the front view, the metal tube frame vice versa comprises at least one upper partial frame that is U-shaped and one U-shaped lower partial frame, wherein the upper partial frame is provided laterally and at the top, and the lower partial frame is provided laterally and at the bottom with planking and wherein the partial frames are detachably connected to one another at the free ends of their vertical legs.
DE 20 307 832 U1, moreover, discloses a cabinet base unit, which receives installations of various kinds, as well as being intended for the receiving of various equipment elements and objects, wherein the cabinet base unit comprises a cabinet carcass, and wherein the cabinet carcass receives an inner shell, a partial enclosure or a separate cabinet, which has a lesser height and/or a lesser depth and/or a lesser width than the interior of the cabinet carcass and the installations in the cabinet carcass are at least partially arranged in the remaining space outside the inner shell.
The disadvantages of this, among other things, are the complicated construction of the installation frame, the lack of stability and the lack of flexibility with regard to the arrangement of various components.
An object of the present invention is therefore to provide a prefabricated installation unit to be fixed in a cabinet, a system and a cabinet, which can be easily and quickly installed in a cabinet, while at the same time being easy and inexpensive to manufacture and flexible with regard to the division of the prefabricated installation units for the various equipment elements.
A further object of the present invention is to provide an alternative prefabricated installation unit to be fixed in a cabinet, an alternative system and an alternative cabinet.
In an embodiment, the present invention solves the above-mentioned objects with a prefabricated installation unit to be fixed in a cabinet, in particular a kitchen cabinet base unit or the like, comprising a frame device, wherein the frame device has an at least U-shaped cross-section having a bottom and two side walls, and wherein at least one vertical separating element is arranged between the two side walls and the bottom for horizontal division into at least one first, in particular left-hand, and one second, in particular right-hand, receiving region for pre-installed user installation units, and at least one horizontal separating element for vertical division into at least one upper and one lower receiving region, and wherein at least one electrical device is arranged in the lower receiving region, and wherein at least one storage device is arranged on two vertical portions of a side wall and/or a vertical separating element.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned objects in a further embodiment, with a cabinet, in particular a kitchen cabinet base unit, comprising a prefabricated installation unit inserted into and fixed to the cabinet according to any one of the claims 1 through 18 and/or a system according to claim 19.
One of the advantages achieved thereby is that an installation of an electrical device and a storage device in a prefabricated unit in a cabinet, for example, a kitchen cabinet base unit, a kitchen pantry cabinet or the like, in a simple and cost-effective manner, is enabled. A further advantage is that the flexibility in the installation of components in a cabinet using the prefabricated unit is increased, since it can also be used in cabinets that are larger, for example, in width and/or in height, than the prefabricated unit. This enables quick, easy and reliable fixation, in particular when retrofitting existing cabinets.
The term "vertical separating element" includes not only separating elements that, when looking at the prefabricated installation unit from the front, allow a division into a left-hand and right-hand receiving region, but also a division into a front and rear receiving region.
The term "prefabricated" is to be understood in the broadest sense and refers, in particular in the claims, preferably in the description, to an installation unit, in which the storage device and the electrical device are initially fixed by a manufacturer and in which, at the premises of a customer, the installation unit as a whole is fixed by an installer in a cabinet, for example, a sanitary cabinet. In particular, the storage device and the electrical device are not fixed in the installation unit on site at the premises of a customer. In particular, the term "prefabricated" is also understood to include an electrical device that is not arranged in a separate housing in the prefabricated installation unit, but rather the housing is formed by the separating elements and side walls of the prefabricated installation unit.
The term "sanitary" is to be understood in the broadest sense and refers, in particular in the description, preferably in the claims, among other things, to any object, arrangement, appliance, equipment element, and the like in connection with bathrooms, kitchens, heating, and the like.

The installation unit 1 comprises a plurality of steps 19a, 19b so that horizontal portions and vertical portions alternate overall. Small electrical devices, cable guides or the like can, by way of example, be arranged in the horizontal portions. In this way, in Fig. 4, a pull-out support system 22 is, for example, arranged on the vertical lower step 19a, which is triggered when light pressure is applied to the waste container 8 in the direction of the pull-out support system 22 and then pushes the waste container 8 forward by means of a rotatable arm 23. In this way, no handles, for example, on a kitchen front panel, are necessary if these are connected to the waste container 8 and/or its pull-out 7. Alternatively to the waste container 8, another extractible element such as a drawer can be arranged. When light pressure is applied to the drawer in the direction of the pull-out support system 22, the drawer is triggered and the pull-out support system 22 then pushes the drawer forward by means of the rotatable arm 23. In this case, the power supply that is necessary for the pull-out support system 22 can then be provided, for example, by fixing a socket to the mounting frame 15.
The vertical portions may have an opening 20 as shown in Fig. 4, which enables access to built-in components of the installation unit 1.
In a further embodiment, which is not shown, the horizontal dividing wall 4 may not be configured flat in the rear region 18, but rather is configured with an additional step in the upwards vertical direction. This enables improved accessibility in the rear region 18. At the same time, the stability of the installation unit 1 can also be improved.
Fig. 5 shows a piece of furniture with an installation system and Fig. 6 shows the piece of furniture of Fig. 5 in detail and in front view with additional elements.
Fig. 5 shows the rear view of a piece of furniture in the form of a kitchen cabinet base unit 2A. The cabinet base unit 2A has a recess or opening 3A, which is usually used to be able to connect a sink to hot and cold water connections in a house wall. In the recess 3A, two identically configured installation elements 1A are arranged on the sides, to which two crossbars 7aA, 7bA, arranged at different (vertical) heights, extend, which crossbars are connected to the two installation elements 1A at the ends. The installation elements 1A may, however, also be arranged, as required, at the top and/or bottom in the recess 3A of the piece of furniture. The installation elements 1A respectively have mirror symmetry along an axis 17A, that is horizontal here.
An installation element 1A, as shown in Fig. 5, exhibits a substantially L-shaped cross-section. The shorter leg is formed by a fixing region 4A (see Fig. 6), the longer leg by an installation region 5A. Projections 14A are arranged in the extension of the installation region 5A in its plane of extension, which projections serve as stops for the correct positioning of the installation element 1A in the recess 3A of the cabinet base unit 2A. The installation element 1A is usually mounted from the front. To do this, the installation element 1A is inserted into the opening 3A and the stops 14A are pushed laterally between the house wall (not shown) and the rear wall 25A of the cabinet base unit 2A. The fixing region 4A is then pressed against the interior wall 26A of the cabinet base unit 2A and fixed there, for example, by screwing, gluing, clipping or the like.
Over the entire region or surface 8A, in the installation region 5A of the installation element 1A, there is a grid 1OA with a plurality of rows 11A (see Fig. 6) of double keyhole-shaped recesses 9A. Neighboring rows 11aA, 11bA of the recesses 9A are shifted by half a distance, here a vertical distance 12A, between two recesses 9A of a row 11aA. The horizontal distance 13A, between two recesses 9A, 9aA at the same horizontal level in rows 11aA, 11cA, corresponds to the vertical distance 12A. The installation element 1A thus comprises a perforated grid, the distances of which are chosen so that a fixed grid size results in the vertical and horizontal direction according to Fig. 5. In addition, the offset by half of the distance in the horizontal and vertical directions of the grid 10A results in an intermediate grid, which enables a finer positioning and fixing of additional elements on the installation element 1A.
The same grid dimension is configured for the crossbars 7aA, 7bA. Overall, the grid 10A is chosen so that it continues in a horizontal and vertical direction over the respective crossbar 7aA, 7bA, when a crossbar 7aA, 7bA is detachably fixed to, in particular hooked into, the two installation elements 1A. The recesses 9A of the crossbars 7aA, 7bA are keyhole-shaped. The crossbars 7aA, 7bA respectively exhibit mirror symmetry along a vertical axis 17aA.
A rounded, substantially rectangular opening 16A is arranged in the center of the respective installation region 5A. As regards the cross-sectional surface, the rectangular opening is significantly larger than the cross-sectional surface of the recesses 9A, in particular more than twice as large, and is used to feed through hoses, cables or the like.
In Fig. 5, the two installation elements 1A are configured as identical parts. In a further embodiment not shown here, these installation elements 1A can also be different in terms of their width, which is to say, their horizontal extent. In this way, for example, one installation element 1A may comprise fewer rows 11A than the other installation element 1A. In particular, one installation element 1A may comprise only one row 11A and the other installation element may comprise at least four rows 11A, in particular six rows 11A. A possible crossbar 7aA, 7bA between the two installation elements 1A is then made correspondingly longer.
Different additional elements 6aA, 6bA are also shown in Fig. 6. As shown in Fig. 6, the rear wall of the additional element 6a is used to hook into a connecting element (not shown here) in at least one recess 9A of the crossbar 7aA or of the installation element 1A, and is optionally also secured there. The additional element 6aA is configured to guide cables, which can be fixed to the respective additional element 6aA by clamping. As shown in Fig. 6, the rear wall of the additional element 6bA is hooked into a connecting element (not shown here) in at least one recess 9A of the crossbar 7aA, and optionally also secured there. The additional element 6bA comprises a backet 20A for securing pipes 21A such as drainpipes or the like. Fig. 7 shows an installation system.
Fig. 7 substantially shows an installation system 100A according to Fig. 5 and Fig. 6. In contrast to the installation system 100A according to Fig. 5 and Fig. 6, the installation system 100A according to Fig. 7 has no opening 16A in the respective installation element 1A. The laterally protruding projections 14A are also missing. In their stead, on the installation elements 1A of Fig. 7, vertical projections 15A are now arranged on the fixing region 4A. These vertical projections are arranged in a plane in front of the plane of the installation region 5A and enable the installation element 1A to be mounted directly from the front into the recess 3A of the cabinet base unit 2A by means of the stops on a front side of the rear wall of the cabinet base unit 2A. The fixing region 4A and installation region 5A are, moreover, additionally connected to each other at the front by means of reinforcements 19A. The crossbars 7aA, 7bA are, moreover, configured to respectively be taller and wider, and thus comprise more rows of recesses 9A, and in the embodiment of Fig. 7, they are not only mirror-symmetrical along a vertical axis 17aA, but also with respect to a horizontal axis 17bA.
Fig. 8 shows an additional element fixed to an extension element of an installation system.
An additional element 6A is shown in Fig. 8, which additional element has a clamping device 20A for accommodating a hose 22A. The clamping device 20A is made of plastic and comprises a round base 20aA as well as two substantially U shaped clamps 20bA, between which the hose 22A is pressed and then detachably engaged therein with a friction-fit.
Fig. 9 shows a connecting element in cross-section.
A connecting element 18A in the form of a two-part rivet head screw 23A with parts 23aA, 23bA, which can separately be connected to installation element 1A, crossbar 7aA, 7bA and/or additional element 6A, 6aA, 6bA, is shown in Fig. 9. The rivet head screw 23A is fixed by means of the screw 23bA, for example, to the additional element 6A, so that the head 23aA is arranged so that it projects rearwards. This head 23aA can then engage in a recess 9A of installation element 1A or in one of the crossbars 7aA, 7bA and, for example, can accordingly fix an additional element connected to the rivet head screw 23A.
Fig. 10 shows a connecting element in a three-dimensional view.
An additional element 6aA which has two projections 27aA, 27bA bent in opposite directions is shown in Fig. 10. These projections can be produced by punching. The projections 27aA, 27bA thereby engage in the recesses 9A, which, in this example, are keyhole-shaped, and by jamming the wing 27aA, 27bA in the recess 9A, the additional element 6aA is fixed to the installation element 1A as shown in Fig. 10 or also to a crossbar 7aA, 7bA.
Fig. 11 shows a furniture element with a system for positioning in and/or on a furniture element, Fig. 12 shows a section of a mounting plate and Fig. 13 shows a section of a mounting plate.
A furniture element 4B in which a pull-out system 2B is arranged is shown in Fig. 11. The pull-out system 2B comprises an extractable U-shaped trim piece 2aB, in which a waste system 2bB with a suspension frame 2cB for a removable trash can 2dB is arranged. A cover 3B in the form of a kitchen front panel is, moreover, shown for the pull-out system 2B, which cover is detachably connected to the pull-out system 2B by means of a mounting plate 5B.
The mounting plate 5B thereby comprises two surfaces 5aB, 5bB, wherein a first surface 5aB is used for connection to the cover 3B and the second surface 5bB is used for connection to the pull-out system 2B.
For this purpose, the mounting plate 5B comprises a flat, planar fixing region 6B on the first surface 5aB. A plurality of boreholes 8B are, moreover, arranged in the mounting plate 5, for example, in a grid-like manner, running around one edge of the mounting plate 5B, in particular on its upper side 50cB, lower side 50bB, and on the left-hand and right-hand side 50aB, 50bB and/or regularly distributed on the mounting plate 5B. Alternatively or additionally, the mounting plate 5B can also be glued to the cover element 3B, in which case the boreholes 8B can be completely or at least partially omitted. A screw connection for fixing the mounting plate 5B to the cover element 3B can then be provided by means of the boreholes 8.
The mounting plate 5B has a plurality of, in this case four, fixing elements 7aB, 7bB, 7cB, 7dB, on the second surface 5bB, wherein respectively two of the fixing elements 7aB, 7bB and 7cB, 7dB are respectively of the same type 7B, 7'B. Two of the four fixing elements 7aB, 7cB and 7bB, 7dB, are respectively arranged on the left-hand or right-hand side 50aB, 50bB of the mounting plate 5B.
Fig. 12 now shows the fixing elements 7B, 7'B of different types. On the left in Fig. 12, the fixing element 7'B has a partially rounded, substantially rectangular base 70'B. Two holes 73'B are arranged on the base 70'B, between which an L- or alternatively U-shaped hook 71'B is arranged. The fixing element 7B likewise comprises a partially rounded, substantially rectangular base 70B. Three holes 73B are arranged on the base 70B, wherein a projection 71B running oblique to the base 70B is arranged between two of the holes 73B. On the opposite side of the base 70B, there is likewise a projection 72B that runs oblique to the base 70B, which substantially exhibits the same width as the base 70B and a square pass-through 74B.
In Fig. 13, in the upper region 50cB of the mounting plate 5B, in addition to the lateral holes or pass-through holes 8B, two L- or U-shaped hooks 9B are made of the material of the mounting plate 5B so that they project from the mounting plate 5B, in such a manner that an opening 1OB is provided by the formation of the respective hook 9B.
In an embodiment not shown here, the mounting plate 5B can, moreover, be provided with one or more reinforcement profiles. A reinforcement profile can, for example, be provided by at least partially folding over the mounting plate 5B or the like.
The fixing elements 7B, 7'B and 7aB-7dB serve to fix the mounting plate 5B to the trim piece 2aB of the pull-out system 2B, whereas the hooks 9B serve to connect the mounting plate 5B and suspension frame 2cB of the waste system 2bB.
Fig. 14 shows a mounting plate.
A mounting plate 5B is shown in Fig. 14, which has holes 8B in its respective corner regions. Two fixing plates 7"B are, moreover, arranged with the mounting plate 5B, each of which fixing plates has a connecting element 11B in the form of a cylindrical projection in its center for providing a clip connection with the suspension frame 2cB of the waste system 2bB. This waste system then has corresponding receivers for receiving the connecting elements 11B and for fixing them to the suspension frame 2cB. The fixing plates 7"B are substantially square and have both diagonal and peripheral reinforcement profiles 12B, 12'B.
Fig. 15 shows a mounting plate.
A mounting plate 5B according to Fig. 11 is substantially shown in Fig. 15. In contrast to the mounting plate 5B according to Fig. 11, the mounting plate 5B now extends substantially over the entire width (in Fig. 15 from left to right in the drawing plane) of the illustrated cover element 3B.
In contrast to the cover element 3B in Fig. 11, the cover element 3B in Fig. 15 is constructed from a plurality of parts, with a frame 3bB that comprises an outer cover panel 3aB, that is made, for example, of glass or stainless steel or the like. The cover element 3B, moreover, comprises a so-called inner lining 3cB on the inside, which is not completely overlaid or covered by the frame 3bB.
Since the mounting plate 5B extends substantially over the entire width (in Fig. 15 from left to right in the drawing plane) of the cover element 3B, it thus also spans a part of the inner lining 3cB. To increase stability, one or more reinforcement profiles can be arranged or configured on the mounting plate 5B, in particular in the form of an angled edge 13B in the upper region 50cB of the mounting plate 5B.
In general, the mounting plate 5B can also be provided with at least one vertical slot 14aB and/or at least one horizontal slot 14bB. The slots serve to simplify assembly by an installer on site. In other words, they serve as a positioning aid.
In an embodiment of the present invention, a method for fixing a mounting plate 5B comprising at least one slot 14aB, 14bB is provided, wherein the mounting plate 5B is placed flush in a corner of a cover element 3B, subsequently the position of the mounting plate 5B on the cover element 3B is determined by means of marking on the basis of the at least one slot 14aB, 14bB, in particular, wherein the marking is carried out by means of a pin guided in the at least one slot 14aB, 14bB, and the mounting plate 5B is then arranged, in particular displaced, on the cover element 3B such that an edge of the mounting plate 5B is congruent with the at least one marked position.
A slot 14aB, 14bB can, for example, have a length between 1 mm and 100 mm, preferably between 5 mm and 50 mm, and a width between 0.5 mm and 5 mm, preferably between 1 mm and 3 mm.
The slots 14aB, 14bB illustrated in Fig. 15, are in particular not to scale and in Fig. 15 are also, in particular, not arranged in such a way that they are appropriate for positioning the mounting plate 5B shown in Fig. 15 on the cover element 3B.
Fig. 16 shows a mounting plate.
Fig. 16 substantially shows a mounting plate 5B according to Fig. 11 through Fig. 13. In contrast to the mounting plates 5B of Fig. 11 through Fig. 13, the mounting plate 5B according to Fig. 16 now has two rectangular recesses 15aB on its left hand side 50aB in the plane of the mounting plate 5B. Alternatively or additionally, projections 15bB can also be arranged on the mounting plate 5B in the plane of the mounting plate 5B, in the place of recesses 15aB. In the mounting plate 5B shown in Fig. 16, the projections 15bB are arranged on the underside of the mounting plate 5B. Like the slots 14aB, 14bB of the mounting plate 5 of Fig. 15, the recesses 15aB, and projections 15bB serve to enable simplified assembly by an installer on site, who uses these as a positioning aid. Analogous to the method for fixing a mounting plate 5B according to Fig. 15, the fixing of the mounting plate 5B according to Fig. 16 is substantially the same:
In an embodiment of the present invention, a method for fixing a mounting plate 5B comprising at least one recess 15aB and/or a projection 15bB in the plane of the mounting plate 5B is provided, wherein the mounting plate 5B is placed flush in at least one corner of a cover element 3B, subsequently the position of the mounting plate 5B on the cover element 3B is determined by means of marking on the basis of the at least one recess 15aB and/or the at least one projection 15bB, in particular, wherein the marking is carried out by means of a pin guided in the at least one recess 15aB and/or on an edge of the mounting plate 5B outside the projection 15bB, and the mounting plate 5B is then arranged, in particular displaced, on the cover element 3B such that an edge of the mounting plate 5B and/or a projection 15bB is congruent with the at least one marked position.
In general, the slots 14aB, 14bB shown in Fig. 15, the recesses 15aB and the projections 15bB shown in Fig. 16 can be combined with each other in any way.
The recesses 15aB and the projections 15bB can each have a length between 1 mm and 100 mm, preferably between 5 mm and 50 mm.
In summary, at least one embodiment of the present invention can have at least one of the following features and/or provide at least one of the following advantages: - Simple and quick assembly. - Cost-effective manufacturing. - Easy to retrofit into existing cabinets. - Great flexibility in terms of customization and installation options.
Notwithstanding the present invention has been described by means of preferred embodiment examples, it is not limited to them, but rather can be modified in many ways.
