SDescription of the Prior Art A table frame generally comprises a plurality of vertical rods and cross rods that are connected to one another by a plurality of connecting devices.
However, the connecting devices of most of conventional table frame will always be exposed after the respective vertical and cross rods are coupled together, thus affecting the appearance of the table frame adversely.
The present innovation has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.
SUMMARY OF THE INNOVATION The primary objective of the present innovation is to provide a connecting device for connecting the vertical rods to the cross rods of a table frame, and after the table frame is assembled, the connecting device can be hidden from view.
A connecting device for a table frame in accordance with the present innovation comprises a connecting piece, a screw bolt, a screw-bolt hole, two locking holes and a screw nut; and wherein a periphery of the connecting piece is fixed to inner surface of an end of 2 COMS ID No: SBMI-01315556 Received by IP Australia: Time 15:04 Date 2005-06-23 23/06 2005 THU 17:01 FAX +64 4 4723358 A J PARK WELLINGTON R006/016 the cross rod, the connecting piece is defined with a central hole, on a side of the connecting piece is fixed a screw nut having a threaded hole aligned to the central hole of the connecting piece, and on another side of the connecting piece are arranged a plurality of locking pins; 00 5 the screw bolt is provided at a mid portion thereof with a locking 0 protrusion and a first end of the screw bolt is to be screwed in the threaded hole of the screw nut on the connecting piece; the screw-bolt hole is formed at an end of the vertical rod and provided for insertion of a second end of the screw bolt; the two locking holes are formed around the screw-bolt hole for insertion of the respective locking pins; and the screw nut is screwed with the second end of the screw bolt; after the vertical rod is coupled to the cross rod, the connecting device will be hidden from view.
The present innovation will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which ,.show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present innovation.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a connecting device for a table frame in accordance with the present innovation; Fig. 2 is an illustrative view of showing the table frame and the glass thereof in accordance with the present innovation; 3 COMS ID No: SBMI-01315556 Received by IP Australia: Time 15:04 Date 2005-06-23.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT Referring to Figs. 1-5, a connecting device for a table frame used to connect the cross rod a to the vertical rod b, comprises: a connecting piece 1, a screw bolt 2, a screw-bolt hole 3, two locking holes 4 and a screw nut With reference to Figs. 4 and 5, the periphery of the connecting piece 1 is fixed to the inner surface of the end of the cross rod a by any means. The connecting piece 1 is defined with a central hole 11, on a side of the connecting piece 1 is fixed a screw nut 12 having a threaded hole 121 aligned to the central hole 11 of the connecting piece 1, and on another side of the connecting piece 1 are arranged a plurality of locking pins 13.
The screw bolt 2 is provided at the mid portion thereof with a locking protrusion 21 and a first end of the screw bolt 2 serves to be screwed in the threaded hole 121 of the screw nut 12 on the connecting piece 1.
The screw-bolt hole 3 is formed at an end of the vertical rod b and allows for insertion of a second end of the screw bolt 2.
The two locking holes 4 are formed around the screw-bolt hole 3 for insertion of the respective locking pins 13.

g In assembly, with reference to Fig. 3, the connecting piece 1 is initially inserted at an end of the cross rod a, and then the first end of the screw rod 2 is c, inserted through the through hole 11 of the connecting piece 1 and screwed in the 00 5 threaded hole 121 of the screw nut 12. After that, the locking pins 13 of the 0 connecting piece 1 and the second end of the screw rod 2 are inserted in the screw-bolt hole 3 and the locking holes 4 at the end of the vertical rod b, 0 respectively, and then the screw nut 5 is screwed to the second end of the screw bolt 2. In this way, the cross rod a is fixed to the vertical rod b, and in like manner, a plurality of cross rods a can be assembled with a plurality vertical rod b, thus forming a table frame as shown in Fig. 1. After this table frame is created, a plurality of plugs C are used to seal the opening at another end of the vertical rods b (as shown in Figs. 1 and and finally a glass D is placed on a table frame.
The connecting device for a table frame in accordance with the present innovation has the following advantages: First, the connecting device can be hidden in the respective vertical and cross rods b and a after the table frame is formned, thus improving the appearance of the table frame.
Second, such structural design and technology for connecting the vertical and cross rods b and a have not found application in similar areas, therefore, the connecting device of the present innovation is innovative as compared to the conventional art.
