Abstract

The container holder (12), especially for a bottle with a neck shaped to receive a screw cap, has surfaces (28) shaped to match those of the bottle neck, and one or more projections (29) shaped to grip and complementary component such as a collar on the bottle neck to prevent it rotating while the cap is fitted. The projections are e.g. in the shape of triangular prisms with free ends (32a) that have straight edges designed to oppose any movement of the bottle caused by the cap fitting operation.
