Abstract

Pivot arm arrangement for a sanitary object comprises an attachment component (1) for fixing to the arrangement, an arm protruding from the attachment component, a pivot bearing for connecting the arm to the attachment component, a brake (12) for locking the arm, and a freewheel for pivoting the arm in one direction. Preferred Features: The brake and/or the freewheel form part of the pivot bearing. The pivot axis is horizontal. The brake is a friction brake. The freewheel acts on a bushing or sleeve (14) connected to the arm, especially on its outer surface.
