Abstract

The invention relates to a mill which is provided with an agitator and comprises a grinding chamber containing a grinding medium, a stator and a rotor which are arranged in said grinding chamber, an input opening for material to be ground and an output opening for ground material which are used for bringing the material to be ground to the grinding chamber and for evacuating the ground material therefrom. Said mill also comprises a device for separating the grinding medium arranged in the grinding chamber above the output opening. The inventive grinding chamber, the stator (13, 14, 15) and the rotor (21) thereof together with a separation device (18) can be placed in a tilting position in such a way that said separation device (18) riches a high position which is higher that the major part of the grinding chamber volume.
