Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Hydrophobierung von Lignocellulosen und einen Holzwerkstoff aus Lignocellulosen. Die Lignocellulosen werden mit einem Hydrophobierungsmittel auf Paraffinbasis versehen und danach, gegebenenfalls nach einem Trocknungsvorgang, zu dem Holzwerkstoff zusammengepresst. Von Bedeutung ist, dass das Hydrophobierungsmittel zumindest teilweise FT-Paraffin ist.
