Abstract
The invention relates to oxidised colouring agents for colouring keratin fibres, particularly hair fibres, characterised in that they contain at least one developer component and at least one 2.4-diamino phenyl ether of formula (I), as a coupling component wherein R1 represents a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C1-C4-monohydroxy alkyl group, a C2-C4 polyhydroxy alkyl group or a phenyl group, R<2> and R<3> independently mean a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C1-C4-monohydroxy alkyl group or a C2-C4 polyhydroxy alkyl group and R<4> and R<5> independently mean hydrogen, a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C2-C4-monohydroxy alkyl group, a C2-C4 polyhydroxy alkyl group, an allyl group or a benzyl group, or containing sals thereof, producing intense reddy and browny colours with high fastness. P-phenylendiamine or derivates thereof are used as developers.
