Abstract

A solution is to be provided using an adhesive profile for use in painting work at the junction area between motor vehicle windows, embedded in profiles, and the body of the motor vehicle, with which solution the window profiles of motor vehicle windows can be easily removed for painting work. This is achieved in that the profile (5) is formed with two profile legs (51, 52) which are at an angle to one another and have an adhesive coating (6) on at least one profile face, -the said profile (5) being formed with a shorter L-leg (52) for engaging behind the lip (2a), which rests against the area (1) of the vehicle body which is to be painted, of the profile (2) which surrounds the vehicle window (3) -and has a longer L-leg (51) to be stuck onto the outer surface of the window (3) and/or onto surfaces of the vehicle body. <IMAGE>
