Abstract

A device for wringing (1) cleaning cloths has two wringing elements (3, 5) which are preferably linked to each other in an articulated manner. A wringing volume (7) into which the cleaning cloth can be introduced can be reduced in size when at least one of the wringing elements is swivelled. The device is characterised in that a cleaning cloth support (35) to which a cleaning cloth (41) to be wrung is secured can be mechanically coupled to the wringing device (1) in such a way that the force for swivelling the wringing element (5) can be transmitted through the cleaning cloth support (35).
