Abstract

The system (18) has a supply container (2) including a fill opening for a powdered treating agent e.g. detergent. An agitator has blades that are rotated by a vertical rotatable shaft, where the agitator is driven by an electrical drive i.e. container (20). A contact protection grill covers the fill opening to prevent contact with the agitator, where the grill is connected to the rotatable shaft to form an inseparable unit with the agitator. A lower end of the rotatable shaft is supported on the bottom of the supply container and an upper end of the rotating shaft is supported in the grill.
