Abstract

The invention relates to a casting system, especially for die casting a metal melt, comprising a casting furnace (1), a casting mould (2) and a sliding lock (3). The casting furnace (1) comprises a floatingly mounted feed tube (4) which can be impinged upon by transversal force originating from the sliding lock (3). In order to prevent the feed tube (4) from tilting during the casting step as a result due to the transversal force acting thereon, an adjusting device (7) is provided in order to lock the feed tube (4) when the casting mould (2) is being filled until after the sliding lock has closed (3).
