Abstract

Exhaust gas recirculation valve (10) comprises a rotary drive (12), and a valve element (14) that can be rotated between an open and a closed position. A cam element (24) with a cam curve (26) transfers the rotational movement from the rotary drive to the valve element. Preferred Features: At least two of the axes of rotation (16, 18) of the rotary drive of the cam element and of the valve element are parallel.
