Abstract

The holder or so-called 'audio-shoe' has a housing (1) open at the front which can be slid over one end of the hearing aid and devices for removable attachment of the holder on the hearing aid. Electrically conducting tracks (7,8) run on the inside of the housing from the connecting points (6) for the components to the front to make contact with connecting conductors present when the holder is mounted. The connecting points form a universal interface to which any type of hearing aid component can make stable electrical connection.
