Abstract
A nozzle (1) for a device for high-speed flame spraying of metallic, metallic-carbidic and/or oxide-ceramic materials, the nozzle (1) being fitted with a spraying medium feed, a gas mixture feed with combustion chamber and a cooled acceleration zone (4), is intended to provide a solution by means of which the temperature of the flame is adjustable, wherein the temperature-regulating fluid can be used directly in the high-speed flame spraying. This is achieved if, at least for a part of the cooling of the acceleration zone (4), gas-cooling channels (9) and/or gas-cooling annular spaces for ambient air as cooling gas with injection orifices (11) for drawing the cooling gas into the interior of the nozzle (1) are provided.
