Abstract

A box (1), in particular having a lid which can be swivelled onto the top side (4), is intended for packaging food, such as biscuits, chocolates, snacks or the like, or other articles, the top side (4) having a window (11), the box (1) being lined on the inside with a film (12), and the film (12) being provided with a tear-off element.
