Abstract

In the method, organic isocyanates are mixed at 20 to 150 DEG C with 0.001 to 1 mol%, relative to the amount of isocyanate, of a silylated acid and, if desired, the mixture thus obtained is subjected to a distillative work-up after a residence time of at least 5 minutes.
