Abstract

The surface cleaning process uses carbon dioxide dry ice granulate (2), which is passed through a hose (6) and a jet gun (11) on the end. The gun is subjected to negative pressure to suck the granulate from a store (3). A separate air pressure line is used to spray the dry ice granulate onto the surface being treated. A jet pressure regulator is used to regulate the impact intensity of the dry ice granulate. It provides a pressure range of 3 to 20 bars. The jet pressure can be regulated by altering the air input forming the pressure.
