Abstract

The invention relates to a concrete plant (station) laid out quite compactly so that it can be covered with cladding the dimensions and cost of which are low. A group of cement silos (bins) (2 to 5) is placed between the mixing station (1) and a granulate silo (6) containing a buffer stock. From a weighing hopper (8) located under the granulate silo (6), the granulate is conveyed to the mixer (11) by a conveyor (9) which passes beneath the cement silos and cement conveyors (15 to 18). The granulate silo (6) has a circular arrangement and is loaded via a conveyor (10) which can pivot about the axis (42) of the silo. The cladding (35) is supported in part by the structure of the elements (1 to 6) of the plant and exhibits a semicylindrical shape at the two ends of the plant. It constitutes a thermal and/or acoustic insulation enclosure (chamber) in which a constant temperature can be maintained. <IMAGE>
