  Method of preparing a detergent.

The invention relates to a method for producing a detergent, specifically from raw material that was previously worthless, namely from rotten eggs. So far, as is well known, animal and vegetable fats have been used primarily for the production of soaps, but these are now increasingly being used for human nutrition, in particular after the hardening processes for liquid fats have been introduced and improved more and more.

 EMI1.1
For the production of high-quality detergents, it is therefore a measure of great importance in economic terms, the success of which could not be foreseen, because there were no indications that a perfect detergent can be made from the total content of rotten eggs through the action of lye, which, if necessary, is completely the same as the soft soap made from precious oils or fats in terms of effect and technical usability.

   Example.

Broken rotten eggs are treated in a cauldron with about 33% caustic soda; the mass becomes stiff. The mixture is heated until it is completely liquefied and filtered. The cooled ointment-like mass has high cleaning power and can be perfumed as desired.
